Family Dinners May Promote Better Mental Health in Adolescents

Many studies have already proven the importance of having family meals even a few times a week, but according to an article on ScienceDaily.com, regular dinners may improve the well-being of teenage children.

McGill professor Frank Elgar from the Institute for Health and Social Policy, together with his colleagues from Queens University, Wendy Craig and Stephen Trites, examined sample data from 26,069 adolescents between ages 11 to 15, who participated in the 2010 Canadian Health Behavior in School-Aged Children study. The researchers then assessed the frequency of family dinners in connection to mental health.

Is Apple working on the iWatch? Almost a year ago the Wall Street Journal had such a report, and now this week, the New York Times once again claims the same thing. The idea would be to have a wrist watch, something that can be worn on your arm and thus be easy to access, and also run the iOS software which means you could access apps, get the weather, email, even read books if you wanted. Of course, because of the small screen, the usability would be questionable, but for people who still use watches it could mean a huge increase in power for what they have access to when using their watch.

The basis of these speculations comes from two insider sources, as the Times puts it.

How not to crease shirts into your luggage

You may have already experienced it when travelling. You scrupulously ironed, folded and packed your shirts into your suitcase before leaving, and everything was creased when you arrived!

My advice: protect them by using a cardboard (rigid enough), put the shirt into it then place it in the middle of the suitcase stucked between the shoes (from the bottom) and the jackets for example (on the top). I usually put two shirts into the same box in a 69 position. Once arrived and taken the shirts out of the case, they are in a totally wearable condition!

One other more elaborated solution: some luggage brands propose specific boxes allowing a better organisation of your suitcase by seperating the clothes in different comptarments.
