Vancouver Eco Fashion Week is gearing up for another great season starting this Wednesday October 5th, showcasing Runway Shows, Seminars, a Trade Show, and DJ Shopping. Vancouver’s bi-annual event has grabbed the attention of media, fashion enthusiasts, and environmentally friendly consumers to celebrate responsible fashion. <
Every summer my go to each and every time is the seer sucker. Some would call it my summer ‘jam’ and how could I argue with the masses…
With that, we’ve just released the seersucker trouser and just like that…it’s gone. When we built and designed this pant we wanted to create something contemporary that stayed true to the classic silhouette. With an handsewn waist curtain, this pant is completely alterable. Straight slim fitting silhouette with a 7.5″ leg opening it is perfect both with a roll or without. And like we’ve always said, these pants are meant to be worn sans chaussettes (that’s without socks for all you Americans…just sayin’).

The morning after the Prada show, an article appeared in The New York Times about how General Motors and the United Automobile Workers union had agreed to bring a long-dead car factory in Tennessee back to life. The news struck me because the night before, as I sat in bed emailing with a close expat friend of mine about how beautiful Miuccia’s spring show was, she mentioned that the collection reminded her of “Old America, when it was great.”
