Happy hump day, fashionistas! Were so excited to be back with our first style blog roundup of the summer. Since there is no better time than the beginning of a season to switch up your look, we wanted to make sure to feature an array of style sensibilities. If youre rejoicing that its finally dress weather again, youll find no shortage of lovely frocks on these blogs, including a mint polka dot version, a maxi inspired by The Virgin Suicides, a chic mock wrap style, and a gorgeous one emblazoned with a star print. If you could use some inspiration, youll also find spotlights on style-savvy ladies like Jessica Alba, Olivia Palermo and Natalia Alaverdian.

Summer 2012 is the season or never to bet on patterns. In particular camouflage, which have been reinvented this year with an African influence. May 3, 2012 was the culmination of approximately three years of research and planning that resulted in the launch of the Nordic Initiative, Clean and Ethical (NICE) Code of Conduct. The NICE Code of Conduct, which specifically addresses the fashion and textile industry, is the first sector-specific initiative under the Global Compact Program. After a lot of negotiations, it’s finally confirmed: American Idol runner-up Jessica Sanchez will be doing a series of solo shows in the country.
FM station Radio High 105.9 will be bringing in the Filipino-Mexican singer to the country in October for a concert tour, reports Inquirer.net. Sanchez will perform in five cities: Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, and her mother’s hometown, Bataan.
In an earlier article, a source had told Inquirer.net that local promoters had wanted to stage a solo concert for Sanchez since American Idol‘s Top 6 episode aired, but previous negotiations were muddled by a US-based agent for visiting foreign acts. I

There is nothing modern about being a NICE Consumer. Our grandparents and many of our parents were classically stylish and understood the value of a well-made garment.
