Ever wonder what happened to that unfortunate kid who was forced to wear the dreaded UFO CAP to school? The Ethical Fashion Show in Paris is one of the must-attend events of the year for anybody working or interested in sustainable fashion. It was held in the beautiful setting of the Carrousel du Louvre, and conveniently matched dates with more established fashion trade shows of the season, such as Premiere Classe, Who’s Next, and Pret-a-Porter. As cute as faux fur vests are, theyre really not all that practical for a toddler. They dont actually offer much warmth and if anything spills on the faux fur, its a wrap.
That being said, sometimes the cuteness factor just outweighs all practicality. And this is one of those times. Just look at Honor Warren in the pic above rocking her faux fur vest. Too cute!

A plaid will always be a classic pattern regardless of time and year. What makes them so unique are the weave and colours chosen season after season.
When we came across this fabric the weight, feel and colour for spring and summer were perfect. Throw in the fact it was your normal every day check pattern and we were unbelievably pleased with how this shirt came out as a finished product.
